A passionate pursuer of both the written and spoken word, Tabari helps to craft materials on behalf of his clients and their top leaders for major publications.
Tabari brings 20+ years of communications experience to the team, which started at Local 12’s news department and includes working as a reporter for The Community Press (where he won an award for best continuing coverage) and CiN Weekly/The Cincinnati Enquirer. His public relations experience includes time at the Cincinnati Museum Center and his beloved Cincinnati Bengals. He utilized his writing skills to compose releases, coordinate interviews, stage events and related media tasks. In addition, his freelance writing work has been featured in several outlets, including Ebony.com and Xavier Nation, the official publication of Xavier University Athletics.
Tabari is a two-time graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication. He was also a member of the Darwin T. Turner Scholars from ‘95-’99 and the Albert C. Yates Fellowship Program from ’00-‘01. Professionally, Tabari received the Outstanding Continuing Coverage Award in 2002 for his work with the Community Press newspapers. Tabari resides in the village of Silverton. An avid autograph, sneaker and action figure collector, Tabari is also an award-winning comedian with two albums that can be heard on Pandora internet radio. Tabari is also a movie blogger and the creator/host of the entertainment-based podcast, “A Tight 45 with Tabari McCoy.”
