Klosterman Baking Company (Klosterman) has served up quality breads, buns and other baked goods for more than 125 years to more than 4,000 restaurants, grocery stores, hospitals and schools throughout the Midwest. Klosterman engaged Scooter Media to create digital ads to highlight its products to potential customers throughout the year, including:
Digital Summer Billboards – Promoting large gatherings where people get together to grill out is a key strategy for Klosterman every summer. However, that all changed during the pandemic. Klosterman asked Scooter Media to help with a new creative concept to encourage small family grill-outs at home, in lieu of larger gatherings, that could be used for several advertising assets. Our creative team helped to develop a large digital billboard to help drive sales for buns during the summer months – we kept it simple, branded, seasonal and safe.
Social Media ads for new markets and header images to support charitable causes – Klosterman has a large footprint across the region (Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky). The organization recently expanded further into Kentucky and begin selling products in the Louisville market. Scooter Media assists Klosterman with social media content and suggested a targeted ad campaign to help announce their arrival to the new market, generate awareness and drive trial. Graphics were created to test a campaign, and then revised based on results and deployed to other markets.
Additionally, Klosterman also served as a strong supporter of various charitable initiatives in the community. The Scooter Media creative team worked with Klosterman to bring to life creative assets to promote their support of their partnership with Save Our Bees, a campaign in partnership with the Cincinnati Zoo, Folds of Honor an organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members, and the Pink Ribbon Girls, an organization that supports and empowers people currently fighting breast and gynecological cancers by providing free direct services, like household delivery of healthy meals, housekeeping, and rides to treatment to lighten the burden.
