This week Scooter Media announced the promotion of Lauren Vogel, APR to vice president of client services. Previously serving as the agency’s public relations director since 2021, Vogel’s advancement recognizes her deep impact on the agency and dedication to Scooter Media’s mission and values.
In her new role, Vogel will report directly to Shannan Boyer, Scooter Media’s president, and will oversee key client relationships while leading team growth, agency innovation, and supporting business development initiatives. Her expanded responsibilities will include championing professional development within the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance agency culture, and contributing to the agency’s long-term strategic direction.
“Lauren is a dedicated and strategic leader, and her commitment to supporting both our team and clients has made a significant impact over her almost seven years with us,” said Boyer. “She has been instrumental in shaping and refining our agency processes, and I’m really excited to work with her in this elevated capacity.”
With more than 14 years of experience in public relations, Vogel joined Scooter Media after working as a senior strategist at a global B2B agency, where she managed communications for clients in the food, technology, and professional services industries. At Scooter Media, she has led accounts across a range of sectors, including nonprofit, foodservice, commercial real estate, tourism and retail.
She has earned accolades such as Public Relations Professional of the Year from the Cincinnati chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce’s Next Generation Leader Award. A graduate of the GP Elevate executive leadership development program and the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce’s Cincy LEADS program, Vogel also holds an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR), reflecting her dedication to ethical standards and strategic excellence.
Beyond her professional achievements, Vogel is actively involved in the community, serving on the board of Welcome House, an organization that addresses homelessness and housing instability. She also serves as a professional advisor and mentor to students in the University of Cincinnati chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).
