The 2024 Blacksmith Awards, presented by Cincinnati PRSA, was certainly a night to remember for the Scooter Media crew! Scooter Media was named Large PR Agency of the Year, marking the eighth consecutive time we’ve received an agency of the year distinction, and the third year in a row we’ve been recognized in the large agency category.
In addition to this agency accolade, our client work received several awards. Three of our projects were honored with Blacksmith Awards — the highest achievement possible, recognizing the best PR campaigns and tactics in the region. Scooter Media earned Blacksmith Awards in the following categories:
- Media and Publicity, for “meetNKY Celebrates 2024 National Travel and Tourism Week”
- Best Website or Podcast, for “Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Spotlight Podcast”
- Best Use of Social Platforms, for “Scooter Media Takes Our Agency’s TikTok to the Next Level”
Our team also took home Awards of Excellence in the following categories:
- Events Lasting 7 Days or Fewer, for “National Chili Day Becomes Week with Gold Star”
- Best Tactical Pivot, for “Gold Star Celebrates National Chili Day by Surprising and Delighting Guests”
We were also proud to celebrate alongside Julie Kirkpatrick, CEO of our client meetNKY, who was honored with the prestigious CEO Communicator of the Year award.
The entire Scooter Media team had a fantastic evening celebrating outstanding public relations work alongside our colleagues and clients. We’re already looking forward to next year’s ceremony!
