Scooter Media Account Supervisor Lauren Vogel, APR, took home the Next Generation Leader Award (NGLA) for “Public Relations, Media and Marketing” at the NGLA Celebration at Hotel Covington on July 27, presented by Northern Kentucky Young Professionals (NKYP).
Vogel was selected among four finalists in the category at the event that honors young professionals in Northern Kentucky ages 40 and under for significant professional accomplishments, demonstrated leadership and community impact.
The finalists were chosen by a review panel of community leaders from nearly 90 applications submitted from across the region.
Scooter Media founder and president Shannan Boyer was also recognized at the NGLA Celebration with the NKYP Legend Award for her impressive 20-plus years working in communications and inspiring emerging leaders in the Northern Kentucky region.
This is the latest accomplishment for Vogel, who was named the PR Professional of the Year in 2020 by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA)’s Cincinnati Chapter.
Additionally, her efforts helped Scooter Media capture Small/Mid-Size PR Agency of the Year from Cincinnati PRSA for the fourth consecutive year in 2020 and Best Women-Owned Ad Agency at the 2021 Best in Chic Readers’ Choice Awards presented by Cincy Chic.
