LinkedIn has been connecting businesses and individuals across industry sectors since it launched in 2003. From B2B to B2C – and everything in between – LinkedIn is simply good business. The professional online network offers advertising opportunities, lead generation and sales plugins, recruitment tools and much, much more. If you’re not aware of these capabilities already, we recommend taking the time to review the business services available under the “work” icon in your homepage header.
How does the world’s largest professional network continue to evolve? Well, they made that announcement on October 15 and we have all the details on the latest LinkedIn updates – employee notifications, kudos and team moments – as well as their new company page completion meter for you right here.
Employee Notifications
Instead of walking around the office and trying to slide the company’s latest LinkedIn post into water cooler conversation, page admins can now alert employees of important posts via their personal LinkedIn accounts (if they are connected to the company’s page online). This new push feature, which can only be used once every seven days (be selective!), provides an opportunity for employees to share and engage with your company’s content. Check out LinkedIn’s Employee Notifications Help Center article to learn more. Sharing is caring.
Kudos and Team Moments
Humanizes your company’s page with LinkedIn Kudos and Team Moments. This tool allows page admins to highlight company culture, recognize your team’s accomplishments and welcome new team members with customizable content formats.
Company Page Completion Meter
Do you know the completion status of your company’s page? Similar to the Profile Strength Meter available to individual members, LinkedIn’s Completion Meter helps page admins monitor and review if their company’s page is missing any details or if they’re not utilizing new features.
