Hit us with your best shot! Scooter Media braved the heat with local Covington businesses for Hub + Weber‘s Badminton Brawl V: Bye Bye Birdie on Friday, June 28. For the past five years, Hub + Weber has hosted a badminton tournament in their parking lot as a fun way to get Covington businesses networking with one another.
Our Queen of Strings, Shannan Boyer, lead the charge for the team but did not make it past the first round this year. However, a little birdie told me that Hannah Jones, Lauren Vogel and Mikayla Williams played into the second round of competition! We may not have been the champions of the event, but our cheerleading squad was out in full force with Scooter Media-inspired pom-poms and clappers.
Thanks to our friends at Hub + Weber for a fun afternoon. We’ll be practicing our badminton skills in the meantime for next year’s Hub + Weber Badminton Brawl.
